A Novice Ladies Bike Ride!Friday 21st August to Tuesday 25th August 2020
We're very conscious that most international bike rides seem to be for
experienced cyclists. Well, this one is going to be different.......... We've planned a ladies-only
ride that moves at an average of only 8 miles an hour, which is a speed that
novice cyclists, on any type of bike, can handle with ease. This is no mad dash
- its a gentle "amble" with no more than six hours of cycling every day. Although we're starting in
Westminster, we even avoid central London by taking a boat down to Greenwich,
and the start of the Thames Path, a traffic free route that takes everyone along
the river and slowly out to Rochester. During the ride you'll be
supported by a group of experienced professionals, including a bike mechanic to
fix any punctures or carry out repairs, and an aromatherapist to provide that
special level of personal care and well-being!! Every night we'll stay in high
class accommodation, with an events programme that will REALLY please you!! We finish with a police escort right into the heart of Bruges, followed by a Gala Dinner and awards ceremony. Your bike gets taken back to the UK for you whilst you have the day free in Bruges to explore, and to shop for souvenirs such as wonderful Belgian chocolates, before taking an evening Eurostar back to St Pancras. |
